We are a small, independent press located in Woodbridge, Virginia ----20 miles south of Washington, D.C. Our goal is to publish books with causes that will benefit our readers. Our purpose is to educate our readers as we entertain them. Our first book, Life Lessons Before "I Do": Things I Wish I Knew! will be released February 2005.

Sleepless Warrior? Meaning Behind the Name:
The name Sleepless Warrior has multiple meanings. The name originally came about as a result of a sleepless night of tossing and turning concerning a problem with our first book. Determined not to give in or to give up, the warrior within emerged. Ah! .... the name Sleepless Warrior was born!

As parents, women, African Americans (and other minorities) there is always a need to fight for our children, stand up for our rights, or support worthy causes. Many of us are warriors who can never rest too long, or sleep through a cause - no matter how tired or exhausted. We are Sleepless Warriors!
